Our Goal is Your Delight
Contact Us Today for Exterior House Painting
Your home’s exterior paint isn’t just there to make it look great—it is a functional part of your house, protecting your siding, brick, and wood trim from the battering forces of nature, whether it’s hail, rain, or just the blazing UV rays that beat down during the Colorado summers.
At Legacy Painting, we take paint’s protective role as seriously as possible. It’s why we only recommend high-quality exterior paint, apply 2 coats every time, and make sure your entire exterior is sealed tight with caulk before we start painting. While we love tackling all kinds of painting projects, home exterior painting is our bread-and-butter, and a major source of pride. Read more about our process below.

Tips for Choosing an Exterior Paint Color
- Account for fixed elements. Consider your roof, stonework, brick, and other permanent features before choosing a color. Look closely at their undertones so your new paint enhances rather than clashes with what’s already there.
- Test with large samples. Small swatches get lost on a big exterior. Paint posterboards with your top choices and hold them against the house, viewing them in both sun and shade.
- Go darker than you think. Sunlight lightens exterior paint by one to two shades, so choose accordingly. That true white will look glaring — an off-white or beige will achieve the crisp look you’re after.
- Don’t neglect primer. The wrong primer can throw off your final color, especially with bold shades. Ask a paint professional about a tinted primer matched to your chosen color for the most accurate result.
